5G Technology

Mobile technology refers to the technology used for cellular communication. Mobile technology has evolved rapidly over past few years. Since more and more people have started using mobiles the demand for new technology that saves time, provides greater speed and enhanced security is increasing day to day.

Mobile phone generations:

1G (1st Generation) - 1G was introduced as voice only communication in the early 1985s in the form of brick phones. This technology had less efficiency and security.

2G (2nd Generation)
2G introduced short messaging service(SMS) and multimedia messaging service (MMS) in 1991. This technology introduced text messaging and low data rate communications.

3G (3rd Generation) - 3G was introduced in 1998 to provide faster data-transmission connection to support video calling and internet access. The aim of 3G was to provide high speed data connection. The original 3G technology was enhanced to allow data up to 14 Mbps and more.

4G(4th Generation) - 4G was introduced to public in 2008 to provide good data connection for more demanding services such as Gaming , HD Android TV, video conferencing. 4G was an all-IP based technology capable of providing data rates up to 1 Gbps. The performance is roughly 10 times faster then the 3G technology.

5G Technology:

5G Technology is being designed and developed for the future. The main aim of this technology is to provide massive device connectivity. 5G network targets higher system capacity, high data rate, reduced latency, energy saving, cost reduction.

5G mobile technology Is the next generation wireless mobile communication, that has replaced the traditional wireline and wireless mobile technology that are in currently in operation. 5G Technology will be launched in the market at the horizon of 2020. 5G is ten times  faster than the 4G network that is currently the fastest network in operation.

Features of 5G Technology:

* Faster response time
* More software option to upgrade
* Increased capacity and capability
* Virtually '0' latency
* Provides speed up to 10Gb/ps
* Increased connectivity to more devices
